What’s In The Bag?–Ipsy August 2017

Hello loves!

Today I’m back with the August edition of the Ipsy Glam Bag. With this months theme being “Good Vibes Only”, the creators at Ipsy wanted to add a touch of peace, love, and positive energy to each subscription with 3 custom bags and beautiful gold packaging.

I received the 3rd bag: “Good Vibes Only”

This months bag also came with a mini Ipsy magazine featuring Ipsy Creator/YouTuber Gabriel Zamora and the introduction of “Ipsy Cash”–a beauty rewards program where you can receive 10%-30% cash back on your purchases from numerous beauty products affiliated with Ipsy–and the cash is yours to spend or keep per a check in the mail or PayPal direct deposit.

Now let’s see what’s in the bag!

My overall thoughts on this bag: I won’t complain. The gold packaging was refreshing to see since I’ve only received the standard pink ones. The eyeshadow from The Balm is a simple warm copper tone with a slight shimmer, great for an ‘everyday’ look. I’ve been focusing a lot on skin care lately so the sheet masks are convenient and I’ve been loving them so far. And since I’m familiar with the Hey Honey brand, I know I’ll enjoy the facial scrub. I’m excited for the Make Up For Ever Mascara (this is the first MUFE product I’ve ever owned, I know I’m so behind!). As for the brush, I love getting them but would like to see more variety (I typically get angled or blending brushes).

Did you get your bag? Feel free to check out Ipsy HERE

Sincerely,
