Favorite Foundations!

Hello my loves!

Today I wanted to share my favorite foundations with you all. I always look for a foundation with medium to full coverage, preferably with an SPF, and of course easy on the pockets! Let’s get started:

Starting from the top left:

Maybelline FitMe Matte & Poreless Foundation (Shade #340 Cappuchino) ($5.99 @ Target) This is a decent foundation for oily skin at an affordable price. The coverage is buildable yet lightweight. My only tip is to make sure to use a really good mattifying primer and touch up powder because this foundation is quick to let shine come through after a few hours.

L’Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation (Shade C6 Soft Sable) ($10.99 @ Target) This could be considered a splurge, but the coverage is also medium to full and has a nice finish. Now I know you’re wondering “Why do you have a dewy finish foundation when you have oily skin?” Good question! Honestly, I’m in love with the glow that I get when wearing this foundation and as long as I wear a long lasting primer (like my Becca Ever Matte), I find myself looking more radiant than greasy at the end of the day.

MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation (Shade NC50) ($28 @ MAC) This is DEFINITELY a splurge! But it doesn’t hurt to treat yourself every now and then.  This also has medium to full coverage with a natural matte finish. I like that this has SPF 15 and it’s my perfect shade (which is very rare to find).

Milani Cream to Powder Makeup (Shade #02 Spiced Almond) ($8.99 @ Target) This was my first compact foundation I ever bought and I love it. It goes on as a cream but finishes as a powder giving off a matte finish. It’s my go-to when I’m in a hurry and don’t have time to deal with liquid foundation. Plus it’s great to take on the go for a touch up. However just like the Maybelline foundation mentioned earlier, I would suggest a long lasting primer to avoid an early shine.

Have you tried any of these foundations? Do you have any favorites? Let me know!
